about

Ok, I had two finished products I was going to release separately, but I figured I'd release them both as a double album. This is that double album. Pinpoint is the half of the album with the shorter track titles, whereas The Hospital is the half with more conventional titles.

Pinpoint is my most experimental album so far. If you haven't heard my music before, don't start with this; start with Thermus Chromus or Ridges. This album was made for the purpose of me attempting a different production style than the style I usually use. Normally I throw more arps and breakbeats in there, but for this album I'm using quiet drones, bare melodies and a fair bit of reverb.
The tracklisting stems from when one of my friends logged on to Skype, went into a Skype group and started mashing buttons on his keyboard and pressing enter.

To commemorate it, I changed the name of the group to "oobie". To commemorate it further, I made this album out of that chatlog. So yep, that's the reason the tracklisting is so weird on this one. I feel like I've removed all the mystery.

The Hospital is slightly less bizarre, but it's still more mellow than any of my other stuff. I sincerely hope you enjoy both albums :D
